Ok, I've been reading lots of questions about sex before marriage being a sin etc. How come it's not a sin for animals to have sex then? Humans are afterall basically animals.

The only difference between humans and animals is that we're conscious of being conscious which we seem to think makes us more intelligent. Looking at the world today, I somehow find that hard to believe.

I don't believe having sex before marriage is a sin. In fact I think it is a good thing to do (in moderation of course). I see a lot of people who end up cheating on their significant others (whether they are married, engaged, or just in a long term relationship) because they never had the chance to sew their wild oats and see what's out there. Once you know what is out there, and you find a REALLY GOOD relationship, you don't want to go back to what's out there because you have learned from experience that it isn't always pretty.

Marriage is a human creation. People who believe sex before marriage is a sin often have no idea that there IS a difference between the mentality of the human mind and the sensible sexual law in the wild animal mind.
