First - smile and realize you are a good person.
Next - find an interest - a hobby. Then find a social outlet to be with other people that have that same interest.
If it's really computers you are into - go take a course -- outside of your school environment - to be with others that need to express themselves as well.
You have let yourself be made fun of - and "ignored." Now it's time for you to grow and become a person. Sometimes I think that the computer generation we are in have taken something valuable away from our children - they are losing the social skills needed to cope in society.
And no one is better off dead. That is too final a solution to a problem that can be worked through.
If things don't look better to you - speak to your guidance counselor. If you can afford a therapist - maybe this is the time to seek one out.
Life is too short to begin with - and deals us twists and turns. No one says it's a perfect world -- or that life is easy... it isn't - and you get from it what you put into it. It's time for you to work a bit out of it -- so you can start enjoying it.
Take care of yourself - you are the only person you got to do that.
BTW - you are good at one thing - and that is communication. And if you sit yourself down and think about it - I'm sure a list can grow of other things that you are good at.

As an immigrant to this country, I got made fun of in elementary school because I could not speak the language and I was a foreigner. I got tease at constantly. I know how you feel. At times, life does seem very pointless, especially when you don't have any friends. If it makes you fell any better, there are many people who feel the same as you do, including me. I just try to take it one day at a time and hope for a better tomorrow. Also, you might want to look into getting some professional help. antidepressants have helped me a lot, and they may help you also.

It sounds like you could be seriously and chronically depressed. If you feel that your life is pointless as it is, then now is your opportunity to change it. I wouldn't worry about being a "social outcast" as many of us feel we are. Don't worry about trying to please a bunch of people you'll have nothing in common with anyway. There will be some people you can relate to.
Just try to figure out what you want to do - even if it is helping other people in some way. What would make you happy? When you figure that out, you can begin to clear away the obstacles. You've taken the first positive step - recognizing that you're not satisfied with yout situation.
I'm going to recommend you find a book by Vernon Howard and read it. Just choose one that sounds like it might interest you. You can do a search on his website or on Amazon.

Hi TT M, oh even your avatar has a sad face!..............I can sympathize with you because I suffer from depression. For many depression is a REAL PHYSICAL ILLNESS> It sounds like yours has developed to the point where you will need medication, since you are sleeping so much. Depression SUCKS!Please make an appointment with a professional, and don't listen to anyone who says it is your fault, or no wonder why, cause your on the computer all the time, or get up and exercise. People are ignorant about depression.
Peace my friend

People don't really hate you; they just don't know you. That was my situation because I use to rarely talk to people at school. I think that you should try to meet new people and find a hobby or something that you enjoy doing and express yourself. Keep yourself busy and don't watch TV or get on the computer for a day. Find something new to do such as running or jogging or playing a game, or whatever. At school join clubs and organizations. At least give it a try because most of the time, these clubs turn out to be very rewarding. Good luck to you!

I think that you are depressed. But I think there is hope for you, I had those same exact, well not exact, but very close thoughts for like an entire year last year. But the only reason your life is pointless is becasue you made it that way. Everyone's purpose is to find something to live for, something to love or care about. Happiness does not just come to you, you have to make it for yourself. If you think you are a loser so will other people, and it is never too late to start over. Someone out there, more than just one someone, cares about you, and you will not find them sleeping. Just stop thinking about how pointless your life is, and go out and make it have an amazing purpose. Find something to get you out of bed in the morning.
I also recommend reading Catcher in the Rye. Perfect book for someone like you.

you are depressed, and even though you say you aren't suicidal, you are desperately crying out for help. you need to see a doctor as soon as possible. there are antidepressants that can help you feel better. i used to be in your shoes, feeling those same things. the thing with depression is that you are so focused on your self and your hopelessness that you never stop to see who would be devastated if you were gone. i do NOT think you would be better off dead. i do think you need to talk with a counselor and be put on some medication. you dont just wake up one day and decide your depressed and you hate yourself, there have probably been several hundreds of things that have happened to you to lead you to this point and speaking out loud about them to a counselor is one of the best decisions you'll ever make. If you EVER consider suicide seriously I want you to call a suicide hotline immediately first. when you step outside the depression, you can start to see that things arent really as bad as you thought they were. I hope I have helped in some way. good luck to you

I dont think anyone should be dead. And i dont think you suck at everything. Everyone has a specialty. Just keep looking. Maybe you like computers alot and you can get a job related to computers. You can make friends at that job.
I really hope you feel better. Dont think about the people who hate you. Pretty much EVERYONE has haters, no matter what.

u do not get anything by sitting in the house with only tv,pc,sleep.
go out of the house, go to the nearest garden/park. go to some rides etc.
go to your religious place of worship, do some SEVA (service to the palce of worship) even cleaning the floor, washing the floor etc. whatever u r capable of. u will be known for ur seva.
why will people love you? --- Just think, u are a recluse.
Just come out of the Shell and people will start knowing u, only after they know u, u can be loved.

don't say that. you are not better off dead you just haven't figure out what to do. and would you believe me if i told you that i do the same things as you? me too i just feel like sleeping all day long or just doing things that would keep me busy not thinking about life. i don't care if i die tomorrow or today, but you know i got tired of being down and depressed, i decided to do something about it, and i am just staring to feel a little better. so if i can do it i am dead sure that you can do it. but just remember that you need to live and not try to be thinking about your own death. please just don't do anything drastic.
