For example, my cousin is going through hard times right now and believes in God. I am an agnostic, and life is going pretty good for me right now. Why does it seem he is testing her faith but not mine?

The above answer is really on the right track. Satan is not messing with you because he has already won you over to his side. Your cousin is a believer and therefore in God's corner so Satan is trying his best to win him over to his side. If Satan can get your cousin to give up or turn against God then Satan has won over another soul to his side. Of the two of you I'd say you are the one who needs to be worrying not your cousin. Tell your cousin to hang in their. God will take care of him. I know, I went through three years of Satan's testing and God stayed there right by my side and never let anything bad happen to me. Will be praying for the both of you.

I know what you mean. I am a Christian, and it seems God is really testing me, I am about at the lowest point I can possibly go, and haven't broken, I have complete faith in God there is some reason He is putting me through this, I don't understand, but I'm praying every day, and hanging in there. Tell your cousin to keep the faith, and God Bless Her, I will pray for her.

To answer your question, I have no idea why he tests some, but not others.

All must be tested!
For most that become christian, that day is often the worst day.
For those that were raised christian, they will face a day of temptation.

The stronger the belief the greater the testing.

The richer the Gold ore, the hotter the furnace to proof the Gold!

You just confessed you have no faith. Believing in something is accepting that it is the truth. Faith is believing that Jesus Christ will save you from eternal condemnation. If you do not have unfailing belief in Jesus, you cannot have unfailing faith.
