First you need to know is that everything... Everything, begins and ends in that 3lb mass of fat between your ears!
Fear or what is known as fear is most often Coped with by simply excepting it!
Fear is the most basic of our emotions and will never be removed, but controlled. Keeping in mind that these fears are present in all of us and may be instrumental in our progress as humans!
The emotion of fear can be beneficial when living in a world of High Voltage concerns, speeding automobiles, and children shooting other children...What is next?
Although, these factors or fears have been a motivating force for many people, they can also be a reason for their downfall, if their fears become, too large.
Do the best you can to control these fears for now and not let them determine your life's direction.
After you are older if this still is a problem, see a professional!

I hate when peopel recommend books coz it seems like such a fob off, but "feel the fear and do it anyway" by susan jeffers is really good. Seriously, it'll put fear in context for you. Theres no point in me or anybody else here telling you not to be afraid coz its up to you. What you can do is start small. Even if its doing something like taking up a sport you wanna try, coz when you do this you'll gain confidence and what happens then is you'll feel able to do other things. Fear never goes away, but what happens is that you learn to push through it so that it doesnt dictate what you do in life.

I'm still working on most of my fears, but lately I have adopted a "What's the worst that can happen" attitude. When I come to a situtaion that I am afraid, such as public speaking or meeting new people, I always spend a minute thinking of the worst possible outcomes in each situation. The visualization of the worst thing that can happen helps me overcome the fear that the worst thing will happen becuase I know what to expect if everything goes wrong.
It sounds confusing but it really works.

You start with a deep breath.
Then take a look at yourself, and like, respect and accept yourself -- for who you are.
In other words, you can confront your fears - and even overtake them. Remember most of us are scared of the unknown -- and until it becomes familiar to us - we may always remain scared.
The Roosevelts had it right. Theodore Roosevelt said, "Speak softly and carry a big stick." While Franklin Roosevelt said, "We have nothing to fear but fear itself."
So, be yourself, it you need a crutch - it's okay, and make sure that you face whatever you are to approach with an open mind.

Social anxiety - talk to someone
Rejection - talk to someone
Fear of the unknown - research about the unknown
Fear of failure - fail, reflect and stand back up
There are may ways to cope with fear and its up to you what you want to do to surpass the fear. Fear is normal but acknowledging it and doing something about it would be more enlighting to our feelings.

The best to overcome fear is to understand it. Think about why you are afraid, why anyone would be afraid. Is it justified? Is there anything to be gained from this fear? As you dig deeper and deeper, answering these questions as they come to you, the fear itself will cease to exist. It is said that people fear the unknown. Is it because fears are unknown? I can't give you all the answers, merely more questions for you to resolve yourself.

Fear of rejection and failure? The unknown? I shrug it off and do what needs to be done. I suppress my fears and deal with them later on, in complete privacy, if they still linger.
Fear of spiders? I run, screaming like a little girl.

Fear is not such a bad thing. Without fear, we would cease to grow. However, if you feel that your fears are incapacitating you, then you should seek professional help.

the best way to get over your fears is to face them. For failure...well you never know if your going to win or loose unless you try, and if you fail, find your mistakes and fix them. As for rejection, who cares what people think. Just be yourself.
