That's what the bible says. I can't say that I completely believe it. Each religion has their own beliefs about the afterlife but no one knows 100 percent what will happen.

Sin must be paid for! The Bible states that without the shedding of blood there is no remission (forgiveness) of sin. The Lord offered up Jesus on the cross and shed his blood for the forgiveness of our sins. The price has been paid and all any one has to do to avail themselves of the free pardon is to repent (change their mind about God) and believe the Gospel. Once having done so they are immediately "born again" and therefore saved. Jesus had to die as he was the everlasting offering for our sins and also his death fulfilled prophesy. Any one at all can be saved and enter into Heaven however many will not come the Lords' way and receive Jesus by simple faith. The Bible states that he came unto his own and his own received him not but to as many as received him to them have he power to become the sons of God even to them who believed on his name. Just believe today and be saved for ever. Its a free gift!

I think I outgrew scary stories meant to get me to do what I somebody else thought I was supposed to do when I was 4 or 5.
The Quran says you have to follow Muhammad's laws to get to heaven, nothing about following jesus. The buddhists say there is no heaven, just a neverending cycle of reincarnation. The shintoists believe your spirit becomes part of the earth and nature, but there's no heaven. Who's right? Since there's no evidence of any kind that any of these fantasies are real -- none of them are!
But I guess some immature people still need their pretend-daddy-god to scare them into being good with threats of hell. Shame they never grew up.

it says in the Bible that if you believe in your heart and say it with your month that Jesus died for your sin then you are born again and you have to repent for your sins every day and yes I believe that and it's not scary if you believe

I believe that if you ask God forgiveness, He will give it to you. Talk to Him everyday, share the good and the bad. If you want to read a good book on what Heaven is really like, read "90 Minutes In Heaven" by Don Piper. God is there for everyone, you just have to let him know you are ready to accept Him into your life.

you are right on it!
I believe your statement!
Not only must we believe but we must live with Him, for Him.
We must accept Him as our Jesus and follow His Ways
John 14:6 [Jesus speaking] "I am the way, the truth, and the life: No man cometh unto the father, but by me".
John 5:11 "And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son."

I believe that all those who trust in Jesus Christ for forgiveness of sins through His shed blood will spend eternity in the presence of God. Those who choose not to believe will spend eternity outside of the presence of God. Since everything that is good, pleasing, and wonderful has its source in God, living eternally apart from God will be awful and torturous.

Of course, I know that by my sins and my state of Sin which I was conceived into I shall surely die, and deserve eternal condemnation.
I have faith though that Jesus, my Lord, my Savior, and my God will save me from the perils of the eternal flame.
Amen, So shall it be.

Sin dosen't send you to Hell.
Leaving the Earth for Good without gettting your Spirit Recreated (Saved, Born-Again) WILL.
Adam messed up his Spirit and passed it on to Everybody else.
That messed up Spirit will keep you out of Heaven.
Sinning just curses you.

I certainly hope so! If the people I've met who are sure they are going to heaven are an indication of the crowd, I'll take hell any day! Eternity with a bunch of judgmental, pompous asswipes? Um, no thanks.
