Keep at it until they can't stand believeing in that stupid book anymore. I sat in church for my entire childhood, and not once did I hear any preacher talk about the shrimp abomination.

You can tell all you want, but the Christians wont listen. The same goes for the naughty pork secret as well.
Its funny how Christians pull out the Mark 7:18-19 verse to "prove" they can eat those unclean naughty things. LIttle do they realize that what Jesus was talking about was the kosher Jewish diet and that everything God declared clean is clean to eat. Ha ha!
And it just keeps getting funnier! With Christians eating unclean things and supporting homosexual choices - and they are supposed to be "moral citizens"? I think many are getting ready for a very rude awakening by God.

Tough questions for a morally tough world. Individual choice plus using that 3 or 3 pounds of fat between our ears should steer us clear of any real trouble. That is unless we want to be led around like sheep or whatever. Nah! I'll take the shrimp(by the way I am aware of the prohibitions on food, no wonder those people were so cranky).

The early church is freed from Jewish dietary restrictions by Jesus in the New Testament.
Mark 7:18-19
"And He said to them, 'Are you so lacking in understanding also? Do you not understand that whatever goes into the man from outside cannot defile him; because it does not go into his heart, but his stomach, and is eliminated?' (Thus He declared all foods clean)" -NASB-
Homosexual acts are condemned in both the Old and New Testament. Do you really think you are the first one to find the verses in the Old Testament that prohibit "unclean" animals from the ancient Hebrew diet and compare it to the condemnation of homosexuality? That was a close one, my faith was almost destroyed by your "naughty shrimp secret".

Shrimp was unhealthy at that time. The New Testament cancels that out. As far as homosexual sex goes . . . that's not the most helpful part of the Bible in my opinion. It is there though you are right.
