My mom died from complications several years after having the bypass surgery. I don't know whether the doctors will connect the two, but I do. Maybe do an online search for gastric bypass related fatalities and see what you come up with?

I don't know, but I didn't. I had virtually no problems with my surgery, physically. My recovery was very fast.

Unfortunately 8 years later I regained about 1/2 the weight from slacking off of using proper eating habits and getting out of the exercise routine. But I am back on track and losing in a healthy way this time.
