Well, that's a serious question if you are seeking to follow the Old Testament Law. Fortunately, those who follow Jesus live not under the law but under grace. Still, many believe that there are very real health advantages to following the dietary guidelines of the Old Testament. Scientists believe those guidelines probably protected the Israelites from many sicknesses and diseases. God gives us free choice in how we eat today, but tells us to care for our bodies. You should take what you know into account and make as wise of a health decision as possible. For me that means shrimp in moderation. For some that means no shrimp.

Yes in the Old Testament, shrimp was an unclean food. Jesus came along and challenge most of the 600 laws the Jewish Pharisees came up with and gave two simple laws: Love God above all ... love each other the way we want to be loved.
The dietary laws were basically God's ways of breaking the Jewish ppl of the Egyptian habits they acquired while living in Egypt. They were good for Moses, Aaron, and the next generations, but the need to perg ended by the time Jesus came along. Additionally, the food processing wasn't as good as it is in today's culture; shrimp used to give ppl diarrhea.

Considering that shrimp are like the little vacuums of the sea, it would be a healthy choice not to eat the disgusting little buggers.

What should you do? Probably reading a bit would be a good place to start. As Christians we do not live under the Old Covenant and the dietary rules of the Mosaic Law. We live under the New Covenant, and the teachings of Jesus Christ, who said "it is not what goes into a man that makes him unclean, but what comes out of him". There are no foods proscribed under the New Covenant.

Let me ask you a question, what is your purpose in life? Also, if you know the bible so well, then why do you not understand that Jesus died for you, and you need to accept him as your Lord and Savior. It's obvious that you are desperately crying out for attention, Jesus wants you to come to him, he loves you, and is ready and willing to start a relationship with you. He'll give you all the attention you need. God Bless!
