Here is the problem. I went to the bathroom in this resteraunt. There was a sign on the stall that read... No sanitary products are to be flushed down toilet. Please use waist basket.

I sat down to do my job. I was in the process of a major dump when I felt my tampon fall out.

I felt so bad because sign said do not flush sanitary products.

It was a poopy bloody mess in the toilet and there was no way i was going to dig out the bloody tampon.

Then I got to thinking. If I did not flush the toilet, then I could not get in trouble. Since I was not actually flushing it down.

So I left the bathroom and went to enjoy the rest of my meal.

So the next person who saw the tampon and flushed, they would be at fault for flushing it down correct?

HELL NO!!! It's not your fault, either! It's the RESTAURANT'S fault!!!! THEY should've hired a plumber to fix the problem in their restrooms!!!!!!! They shouldn't sue you or the person who used the same toilet after you! THE RESTAURANT is at fault!

First off, I would think that flushing a tampon down the toilet wouldn't be a huge crime. If you fluched a pad, or the wrappers of a pad, that would be bad. If you flushed the carboard or plastic insertion tube down the john, that would also be a no no..

As for you to leave it in the toilet, and not fluch it, it is your fault. I would have flushed it. My little sister never flushes the toilet, and it drives me crazy, because it sits there and gets worse smelling as each minute goes by.

The person that flushed it would be guilty of disobeying the restaraunt's request/policy, but would overall be the correct thing to do. a tampon is not that different from a wad of toilet paper, or a large poopie.
Next time, you should probably flush... that way the next person doesn't have to flush the toilet with your mess, and her puke.

hope my answer helped you. take care

You are at fault for taking your tampon out and dropping it into the toilett. The person after you didn't do it. Will you get into trouble? No. People clog toilets all the time and they just deal with it or take care of it. I would have flushed the toilett rather than let someone else come along to flush it for you.

If it was an accident I would have flushed it. Most times those signs are for pads. Pays would plug a toilet almost right away. A single tampon is not gong to do that.
