whenever i chew cinnamon gum, or eat cinnamon candy, the next morning my tongue feels slightly numb...it's an odd feeling. does this happen to anyone else? why does cinnamon do it and not mint?

It makes my tongue numb as soon as it starts to dissolve.

Cinnamon is a natural plant that makes a very hot/spicy motion that makes your tonge or mouth numb because, naturally cinnamon is hot which makes your mouth numb like spicy things would.

I can't chew it.Cinnamon gum gives me sores inside my cheeks.
