Having danced with many a girl, I've taken a less is more approach. This can partially be attributed to my average dancing abilities. But, I really feel like if I try to do something, I'll just end up ramming into the girl. So I just stick with the beat, let the girl do her thing, and occassionally mirror what the girl is doing if its simple enough.
I've never really tried to go out and take the initiative, though. I feel kinda bad for the girl doing all the work sometimes. So ladies...would you suggest that I take the lead sometimes? Or is it too hard for a girl to pick up (after all you can't see me)? Should I just stick to what I've been doing?
Now would also be the time to supply with random tips/hints/dos/donts on dancing. Cmon ladies...
