"During its embryonal phase, the more developed embryos eat up their less developed siblings."
where's the intelligence there?
you can always say "there's a purpose for everything" as a copout though.
i think they have to be one of the most "unknown to the bible" creatures and one with obviously no contact with humans in the bible so there's no chance that they are evil... btw, why would a god curse all carnivores to be carnivores after man sinned?
if we still have herbivores now, when god actually allowed eating meat, does it mean the animals have free will?

I like the view of them "through" the glass. I wouldn't get in the water with them.

The Bible, written by or through Israelites, couldn't possibly record all the knowledge in the world. The end of the book of John says that if everything Jesus had done had been written down, the entire world couldn't hold all the books.
The Bible writers wouldn't know about sand tiger sharks any more than they would know about raccoons or bison or pumpkins or Giant Pandas or caribou or any other creature not found in the Middle East or Mediterranean.
The Bible says Noah's ark carried all the animals, but I imagined the fish--like sand tiger sharks--remained in the water. Whether all the fish on earth eminated from the Mediterranean region or not, I don't know.
Also, I don't think God judges the natural acts of animals as evil. Less than ideal, maybe, but not necessarily evil. Now there is a Bible passage or two which tells of a time when animals will not harm each other, such as, "the lion will eat straw as an ox." But this is not that time.

Why is being a carnivore a curse? That's retarded. Maybe you've heard of this magical bit of science called the food chain? If all animals were herbivores then there would be a constant cycle of them depleting their food source and starving to death, then rebounding as their numbers thin out and the plants return, then starving to death again and so on. Animals as carnivores allows for balance in nature and not a constant waxing and waning of populations. Could you imagine if herbivores overran the world? How would any humans be able to farm if all the animals that existed were herbivores? Farmers would have to hire armies of men to guard their farms from pests. Instead of that, there are carnivores that keep the populations in check so everybody can get by.
The sand tiger embryos eating their siblings is just natural selection, and yes, Christians do believe in such things. The weaker siblings are less likely to survive anyway, so eating them just enhances the survivability of the already surperior specimens. Next time you try to use science to disprove a religion, make sure you actually know some science.

GOD dosen't "Cause" everthing that Happens on Planet Earth.
GOD only does Good.
Adam let the Devil into the Earth, the Devil kills, Steals and Destroys.
Animals have a Limited Free-Will.
So do Angels, Good or Bad.
