My boyfriend is coming home for his 2 week leave (YAY) and we are going to go somewhere for a couple days just to get away, we are taking my lab/rot mix (VERY nice dog) he weighs 39lbs, with us but dont really know anything fun we can do to take him with us b/c we dont want to leave him at the hotel the whole time (Yes we already have the hotel picked its in Logan, Ohio) Thanks for any ideas!!

don't know anything in ohio, but i love the website www.dogfriendly.com - I've used it in the Northeast and in Florida, so hopefully they'll be able to help. I'd specifically look for state parks and lakes, camping areas. good luck!

If you're into the outdoor thing, search for the area you'll be visiting for some good hiking trails. That's a great thing to do with a dog! Tho National Parks do not allow dogs on thier trails anymore, so make sure to keep it state and federal only and research the allowance of dogs.

AAA has listings of pet friendly hotels and there is a growing # of lodgeing establishments that cater to pet owners. Park ,Lunch side walk cafe' ,window shopping lake beach boating. Or you can make him a fake 'guide dog' coat and take him where ever you want.

East Harbor State Park in Ottawa County allows pets. They have beaches and nature trails.

in basic terms pass with a Guinea Pig. they're soo lovable. in line with risk a lizard (a small one) yet while it gets lost thats no longer good! those little crabs, I forgot the call yet they're so cool! Umm a gerbil or a Chinchilla. i comprehend you think of bunnies poop plenty whether it truly is worth it! they do no longer poop that plenty.
