If I'm making loan payments to an individual, how can that person report timely payments so that they end up on my official credit record?

I don't think there is a way for an individual to report your payment history to them through the credit bureau. You could try contacting one of the three credit bureau's. Equifax, Experian or TransUnion.

Unless they have multiple accounts they can not report information to a credit bureau. This is to prevent people from fradulently reporting good information.

credit report does not report this type of payment, for many logical reasons....ex: OK I borrowed one million dollars from uncle dave and paid it back... I want good credit now! report it! see what i mean.?
