usually alot of them forget. my boyfriend of 9 months sometimes use to say " ill callu rite back" but he was always doin something and would forget. we live together now so itsd fine but it did aggravte me then I got onto him about it once and he said well if you feel im not calling u back then just call me. so yeah I Hop that helps!

well we are not talkers, we don´t use the phone the same as women do, we keep it short mostly, sometimes we feel we don´t have much to say so we don´t call. Also sometimes it feels more polite to say that rather than saying nothing when you are expected to if there is no interest in doing it I bet sometimes you tell someone you will call and then forget or not feel like it. There seems to be an element of karma or something, have you noticed that when you are expecting a call it never comes but the minute you are thinking of something else or get busy the phone rings and it is the person you want to talk to?

i rarely do but i think it's because it's very very difficult to say to someone 'i'm not going to call you' because there is that point where one feels the onus is there to be re-assuring. To not say something nice at this point would be like rudeness- so its kind of a social convention. Sometimes the reason is different- because of a personal crisis, or some large distraction. For this reason it often pays to follow up yourself and call the guy- what can it hurt. I've often done this with women who I thought didn't like me because they weren't calling and been pleasantly surprised - for example one girl had lost her phone.

I'm am guilty of this but it was another case (i lost the number ) but u could call them and ask them y they didn't call u back

Really good question. I wonder that too. Either they really are busy and can't call you back, or they don't want to or it's an excuse not to talk.
