I can't. And I feel so guilty about not being an estactic lover of Christ...why can't I jump for joy to be a child of God? Why doesn't the scriptures uplift me out of this abyss? How do I stop feeling guilty about my depression...and yes, I am on Zoloft. I still have trouble getting out of bed sometimes or finding the motivation to be active or devoted to an activity. Am I just not strong enough of a Christian? Am I lacking in belief or faith or obedience? Explain. Give me some scripture please.

welcome to the club! Sometimes I feel like God isnt listening to my plee for help. I know he is but i want immediate results!.. There are all kinds of christians so dont be so hard on yourself. Maybe you can talk to a Christain counselor or even you pastor.

Maybe your not on a high enough dosage of your Med. You could talk to God more and have faith and ask him to help you by giving you strength and wisdom to do what will make you and him more happy. I suffer from depression and I take an antidepressant and I'm doing well so it can be done.Don't give up,I will pray for you.

I am a christian and on medication for depression too. Who says you have to jump up and down for joy. Other people in church just makes other people think they have too. God knows how much you love him or her it has nothing to do with how you act its all about whats in you.

HONEY,TALK TO YOUR DOCTOR.DEPRESSION IS A CHEMICAL IMBALANCE.THE MEDS THEY PUT YOU ON ARE TO TRY AND BALANCE YOU OUT.
IT TAKES 2-3 WEEKS TO WORK.THEN YOU MAY NEED A STRONGER DOSE.

i face depresion and offten want to take my own life, but God is real i just know it. i dont feal him the way i think i should i dont feal him atall but, Your not lacking you just have too much let God take some of it off your back
