Really become friends with her and get to know her family. Make her comfortable around you. Don't push her into a deeper relationship until she's ready. As for little things to show you care: dedicate a song to her on the radio, give her flowers (nothing too expensive, maybe even hand picked), post sweet notes on her myspace, talk to her and find out what she thinks about, make her a special CD, plan a surprise date, go shopping with her, hide little post it notes in her textbooks, TELL HER.

Show her that you are better than the competition by letting her know that you are working really hard on your school work and is willing to be patient with her and you are willing to be the man and give her the guidance she needs to graduate,since this is the principal reason that you both met,right?

Try to be nice with her. let her know you will be her friend in ups and downs. give her your phone number and let her feel you are really there for her. let her friends know you really like her eventually they will tell her. Oh and try not to be to sweet with other girls so that she can feel special.
