My husband has been working hard to help us make it in life. He works his job, side jobs, and is working hard on the house to make it better. We are about to have our third child and life it going to be even more crazy for a while. I was wondering if anybody had any ideas on what I could surprise him with to tell him thanks and i love him. I don't want to spend much money if any money at all. He would probably like it more if I didn't. Any ideas?

Make him his favorite dinner, and just give him a night thats all about him. Get someone to watch the kids, so you've got the place to yourselves. If he's working hard, I bet letting him kick his feet up and relaxing with him would be nice. Rent him a movie that he wants to see, even if maybe it isn't much your taste, buy some oils or even lotion would work, and give him a really nice massage. Think hard: is there something he's ever asked for, a favor, in the past that you couldn't provide at the time? If so, give him that, so he knows you didn't forget. Maybe next time he jumps in the shower, give him a hand, soap him up etc. But in the end, you gotta go up to him, look him in the eyes and tell him that you love him and that you appreciate everything that he's done. Never stop saying thank you, i think lots of times we think those words don't matter, but they do.

Get someone to mind the kids for the night and cook him up a really nice dinner that you both like to eat but dont tell him that you are doing it and he will get a surpise and you should do it every cuople of weeks and that should make him really happy.

Fix his favorite meal(have the kids in bed) light some candles and buy some flowers-put on some soft music and tell him how much you love and appreciate him! Good luck I think you are fortunate and he is also!
