No, not the men at least ;)

Of course Muslim women can wear make up. We can wear as much make up as we want to, it's a matter of choice. However, when in public Muslim women (and men) are to be modest in almost every sense - dressing, speech, appearance (e.g. make up). I guess for women who are wearing the hijab they prefer to wear light make up so that it doesn't contradict with one of the purposes of wearing the hijab - which is to not attract attention from the opposite sex. But when they are at home and/or not in the presence of men who are not their immediate family members, they can wear whatever they want and put on as much make up as they wish :)

Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) encouraged Muslims to always look clean, neat and tidy but he didn't encourage extravagance in all aspects of lifestyle.

The ones who aren't really fundamentalist, yes. I work with and live around quite a few Muslim women in NYC; most wear at least some lipstick.

YEAH sure,as long as it's not flashy and makes u look like a clowns,by the way muslim girls have very good taste in clothes, veils, make up and everything, plus they r pretty smart to.We r not opressed by men who take care of us and love us,and the veil we wear doesn't stand in the way of our success.

Yes. And dresses, and jeans, and do their hair, too. Many, many Muslim women in Arab countries look and dress just like American women (though not like slutty, belly button-showing, thong-exposed, tight as a snare drum wearing tramps).

Even women who wear head scarves, out of religious piety wear subdued make-up and lipstick.

Do Christians wear underwear? I've never seen any of them wear underwear. So this means they don't?

Makes sense? Neither does your question.
