No I don't think you should look at it that way. It might just be the way they heard it...I'm sure they don't mean it the way you're taking it.

Lazy and ignorant. If there is a god, and he has "his will," he's going to either bless me or not depending on what his will is, not on some half-hearted sentence spoken by people who want to appear to be religious. And if there isn't a god (the most likely case), the words are meaningless. So why not just drop them? Personally I'd much rather have someone say, "take care" than "god bless you"

How can you be so ungrateful? A blessing is a blessing...not a test in oration. Just take the blessing and be thankful. After all, the person can choose not to say anything at all to you. Accept the blessing and be thankful.

I dont locate something in any respect lazy approximately it. Like many different words that have been shortened. You talk approximately purple Skelton as though he have been the devil himself. purple replaced into very lots a Christian and whilst he mentioned " God Bless" you ought to tell that it particularly got here from the coronary heart. you ought to easily loosen up

May be they want the statement to be more general, as in God bless everyone... not just you...

It's like "take care" instead of "you take care". Laziness I suppose.
