Those who believe they possess the ability to condemn others to hell, or deem others saved, believe they are the Way, Truth, and Life, out of arrogance.

unfortunately they are misinformed about the Rcc and just don't understand. i had a similar stand with a member of the USN who was a strong Baptist. when we'd talk he's say - where do you get that that's not Scripture. well after enough of that i wentout got a cathchism and started studying and it always shows the scripture "where they got that" so.... we had some great conversations and started talking and talking and really love each other. it's only a friendly love - nothing like that as he's married ; ) its also helped me to show others that the Rcc (Roman Catholic Church) doesn't preach that we aren't supposed to read the bible. unfortnately, some people just don't want to accept others adn that's sad and wrong. remind them of Matthew 7:1 - 1"Do not judge, or you too will be judged. ot take it a step futher and go with matthew 7:1-5 1"Do not judge, or you too will be judged. 2For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.
3"Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother's eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? 4How can you say to your brother, 'Let me take the speck out of your eye,' when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? 5You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother's eye.
Semper Fi - (to God)
oh yeah i'm actually a member of the Navy league now because of him - boy was that hard on the air force dad and USMC brother but my uncle who was one of the first seabee's was stoked! thank goodness the WWI army grandpa was already gone ; ) LOL
one more BTW - thank you for serving me -someone you don't know - thank you for risking your life for my saftey and security - may God continue to watch over and bless you!!!
PS - if you want some scruptire for thsoe that come at us with the Mary/idol worship nonsense or the trinity or Rcc traditions, etc - please just emmail me - have them realy tocopy paste and send!!!

They have no idea what being a Catholic actually means, having been brought up only on lies and half truths about the one, true Church which Jesus himself founded, and which he promised to guide and protect, until the end of time.
If they knew what you know, they would have no choice but to become Catholic themselves.
Just continue to be strong in your faith, trust in God, and keep learning.
No Protestants and few Catholics really understand all of it.
May God Bless you, keep you safe, and grant you peace!

I am honestly surprised that members of my faith and yours would make such a scandle over this, to work with others, is one of the best ways of converting them, also remember Pope John Paul II worked with many jews, so I can't see how working with other faiths makes you hell bound.

People are ignorant. Please don't follow in their footstep and become like them. from my own experiences I have found that not all people were taught to respect other people's religions. I don't understand this but it is no different than those who have been taught to hate people because of the color of their skin.

Maybe you are so straight laced they think your ready to become a deacon or a priest when you get out of the military. My brother is a deacon...he's a man of absolutes...believes all the church dogma.

Don't worry about what man might say. What is important is....are you saved by faith in Jesus Christ? Do you believe the bible is God's word? Do you follow it as best you can? Do you speak His word in truth and love? If God be for you, who can be against you.
Jesus said, blessed are you when people say all manner of evil against you, for His sake.
Also, bless those who curse you.
It's okay...He will look after you!

You should know the answer to that. Religion is one of the best things there is but not to teach it or speak of it. No one agrees on anything. Not even those who believe in the same religion. They argue over it continually. Politics and religion, 2 subjects to steer clear of........seriously.

You said it yourself, "I was always taught by the church..." You were taught by the church but you don't know what God and the bible says. In respect to religion, God HATES ALL religion!!! I'm not saying you're going to hell, but I am saying forget catholisism and get to know Jesus and the bible more intimately. Then you would understand why God hates all religion, including catholisism. Don't get me wrong, there are many believing catholics but catholisism is nothing but one of the largest cults in the world.

I have come to the conclusion that it is pure jealousy just like Joseph's brothers in the Old Testament. We have the Mother that our Father truly loves (The Virgin Mary) and they did not want her. I don't think they realize this--but, aren't you amazed at their animosity?
