Is it insulting to monkies to reveal that they are only slighty different from human beings?

Time magazine has a great article this week entitled 'What makes us human" about that. It tells of how that small percentage difference determined small subtleties such as jaw features and how a "glitch" in human DNA makes us more susceptible to disease like malaria and influenza compared to primates. It's an interesting read.
If I were a monkey and saw how we acted I'd fling poo over it though.

History Channel had a special on men and apes today. Apparently they got some Neandrathal DNA and compared it to human DNA. Guess what? No relation to humans whatsoever.

Maybe monkies are smarter. They are not on the verge of making themselves extinct, because of greed and religion.
