I think the actual expression is "time heals all wounds".
And it does, as Dwayne alluded to that includes and is exemplified by and actual wound. If your arm gets cut, in time, it will scab over and a scar will form. With more time even the scar will diminish.
Please note, it won't go away, it will heal. Nothing on earth can make the hurt or pain or suffering or wound go away as if it never happened.
My youngest brother died when he was nineteen. Forty years later, it is still there, not nearly as bad but still there.

Well see that is time, you may have to wait 1 hours, three days or 10 years. That is the one thing about time, you may have to wait a lot longer then you want too. That is life, and one day you will move on from what is bothering you.

Because after a while the pain eases and the memory of the situation starts to fade. But you have to let it go. Don't keep dwelling on it or it won't heal correctly.. Good Luck

It does, get a injury, get a cut, get a hickey, have a broken heart.
My broken heart took 4.5 to 5 years to heal.

I have always been told that,,, I know time does make things, not as close, as they once were, it seems to get your mind off things, because you are thinking of other things.

it does, believe me! but we're not talking days or weeks, it's sometimes years before the healing is complete. don't beat yourself up, take the time, and soon it'll be better
