Guys do that crap all the time. They like to avoid confrontation and like for you to just know it's over. They will just stop calling you and stop coming around or be distant on the phone when you do speak...Funny thing is, when you stop calling them, they get all nervous and call you again just so you can start calling them. If you feel like something is wrong, but the guy continually avoids the issue, then you might want to re-evaluate the relationship.

As soon as he finishes in bed...
No seriously, I usually just tell the girl it's over in person, and that I don't love her anymore.
Maybe you should just talk to him and tell him that you feel ignored/un-loved/it's not the same, etc.
If he's not calling, then he doesn't want you around, therefore, over. Leave him a message, trash the photos and go get a new guy.

If you don't get it directly from the person telling you, then it becomes a matter of the heart. Do you feel in your heart that the other person doesn't love you? or that the other person has removed themselves from the relationship by breaking off contact because in their heart the relationship is over?

if they dont tell you there is no sure to know becaue you may think ur guy is treating u bad and u might assume that he no longer likes u but it could be because some times guys get in to this mood were they think that they dont need to always show or tell you that they like you they just think that you know so the best way is to sit down and talk if he dosent want to and puts up a big fight then you might want to think aobut ur relationship

You know what.....if you feel like it's over........it probably is. Unwanted, avoided, sad, rejected, I could go on and on. The point is, if you're feeling these things (which you shouldn't be in a healthy relationship) it's time to go or be let go of. There is better things out there.

You cannot know without confronting your boyfriend. That's horrible, the "not knowing". If he starts avoiding you by making excuses, not calling, not picking up the phone, those are good indications. I'm sorry if you're going through this. It's awful, I know. Be strong.

when you stop wanting to spend time with the other person. i mean it's normal to have that spark when everything isn't brand new and you guys know each other regularily but when you find yourself wanting to do something else more than usual, yep time to call it quits. its okay if once in awhile you want to do your own thing. that's just healthy. who wants to stick to the other person like glue 24/7....relationships end quick like that.

Just look at it like this....... If u do a no call/ no show at work they would fire u. But, some places would hire u back if they give u a chance to explain.

if he is really stand off-ish, non comunicative, or he just don't care you really need to talk to him. and just get to the point "look man are we still together or not don't have me on this little trail of so called love." but seriously just ask him because no one deserve thier heart being toyed around with.

They stop spending time with you and sort of don't talk to you anymore. You say hi and they don't even look up for a long time, for example.
