It will damage your hair more if you use a relaxer. You have to remember if you just permed your hair, it still needs time to relax. After about 2-3 weeks your perm should relax on it's own to the next rod size. If you absolutely must loosen the curls right now, then you can do a few hot oil treatments(every other day) twice and it will relax your hair.
This was written for a permenant wave treatment used on caucasian hair. not a perm used on ethnic hair. I'm not sure which you were referring to.

Assuming you are black NO do not use a relaxer when you have just permed your hair unless you want it to fall out. To straighten it just use a flat iron if you don't have one call one of your friends but DO NOT use a relaxer.

it would just damage it more and it would feel like straw. the best thing to do would be use shampoo and conditioner for curly hair and use all the anti frizz goupsyou can find, like aussie leave in conditioner plus spray gel and leave in conditioner plus antifrizz creme. they tame my natural curls pretty well and it is definately poofy and dry.

i think you should wet your hair and go to a beauty shop and get cream rinse and after you wet your hair dry it with a towel and put the cream rinse in your hair and rub it in. Then, straiten it.

I would get it professionally done, otherwise you might risk causing some semi permanent damage
