I live in Calumet City, Illinois and I am looking for someone who's real good with Black (my ethnicity) hair.
I can't afford to pay a lot, but want to do something different w/my hair. I currently wear a small afro and want to get it straightened.
Ne1 know someone/someplace nearby?

i think they have a place next to wal mart, mayb they can do something for u there if not down torrance avenue i think they opened a beaty salon. Good luck =)

I'm not sure if they have locations in Cal-City, but Yehia downtown and in Hyde Park is pretty good. They can be pricey, but if they do your hair once every few months, you can easily maintain it at home (with the right products and tools). I like how they specialize in hair health (no frozen or "crunchy" styles *LOL*)!
