I have coarse hair. I am a 13 yr old African American. Some of my african american friens have smooth hair(not like asian or white), but its like shiny smooth. How can i have hair like that?

they use hair oil, it makes it extremely greasy, but shiny nonetheless. you could just ask them what they do to their hair too, and itll be a compliment to them:)

Call some hair salons and ask them about this. Don't settle with just one. Try a few. You'll get your answer.

Use shampoo, then use conditioner on ur hair, it might work for smoothness and smell.

do a hot oil using mature coconuts... shampoo after. shampoo also the next day to thoroughly remove grease and voila!

well, you can get it perm. straghtened, or just accept your hair the way it is.
