I'm still in highschool but I've had a few boyfriends and I know what type of guy I like. This guy however is not what I usually go for. He's not that smart, he's not interested in marriage, and he's not interested in kids.
At first I didn't even know why I was friends with him. He's blunt, he's unpredictable, he's simple minded, and he's always talking about how hot some girl is. It makes him amusing to talk to though. And I'm finding it hard not to fall for him...even though sometimes it seems like he just sees me as one of the guys there's an attraction between us that is hard to ignore.
I can even picture us together in the future... which is something I've never been able to do with any other guy. What should I do? Should I move on... or let myself fall for him?

You are so young and will probably date a few other guys before you finally settle down with a guy (especially if you go to college). I wouldn't stress too much about this. You can do anything you want. It sounds like you already enjoy his company, even with his faults. so, why don't give him a chance. You'll probably find someone else in the future and the choice to dump him won't be as hard. Sad to put it that way, but that is usually how it works.

Paula Abdul sang a song ,the theme says (opposites attracts),It is no laughing matter when you numb the senses of reasoning to do the unthinkably opposite, you as a woman are breaking all the rules that lead and develop your strong maternal and womanly instincts, having yourself be led around by a loser. If you do love this guy and you really want the relationship to work, someone has to be the leader, and baby it is not him,not just yet seems like he is there for the ride.Do not compromise your standards and have yourself swayed .there is trouble on the horizon when it is time for you to step up to the next level which is a real emotional commitment, men such as you have described him to be it is very hard to exude anything serious from him.Do the math, reason well.

Women tend to fall for the wrong guys, I don´t know why. There are tons of books about the subject. Try reading one and understanding your feelings better. Hopefully, you´re grow out of this.
One piece of advice: don´t ever think that you can change him. If he says he doesn´t want to marry nor have kids, believe him...

If you're interested in marriage and having kids, but he's not, dump him for someone who is. But let me ask you something- do you know for sure, he's not interested in marriage and having kids? Or did someone or something convince you, that is the case? Has he told you he is? IF he has, then he likely is. Other wise, your theory is likely right.
