Of course, most "followers" of Jesus are NOTHING of the sort.
If you want to see a real example of the teachings of Jesus applied to human life, review the actions of the Amish after the recent school shooting.
Jesus did NOT advocate materialism, war, hate, abuse of the poor & sick, and so many other things regarded as "right" by most who claim to be His followers.
