I hope we don't have a war with N. Korea. I do think we are going to have a draft. That makes me sad so, now, I'm going to go have a draft and hit the sack. Good night.

I think if anything happens with North Korea it will be them trying to take over South Korea. I have heard alot about them wanting to take over South and my hubby was in South for 1 year and they had a few things happen with North. So far North Korea doesn't have a nuke that will hit the US (maybe the western side) but the news has said it wouldn't hit the US at all. I hope nothing else starts because what we are dealing with now is enough. I guess it all depends on how Bush wants to do things.
For the draft I know for a fact the Army hasn't met their quota because who wants to sign up at a time like this? I don't believe a draft will start because again I am a military wife and every 6 months so far they have deployed my hubby so I feel like it will keep happening until he is not active duty.

It really depends on the President in office and the general opinion of the people, especial with a new draft.
There ,might, be a war with North Korea, but it won't be anytime soon, or by Americans! Until China decides that Korea has gone to far, we may only see that headline in the movie or a good novel!
The people are sicking of war in Iran and arn't goin to be behind the President, If he decided to bring back the draft.
America will benifit from the NATO Alliance before this comes to past!

The U.S. Military has the capabilities to flatten every military facility in North Korea within a few days. A war with North Korea would be very brief as it is a conventional war with a clear-cut enemy, unlike the war on terrorism. Will we go to war? Maybe. Will there be a draft? Sincerely doubt it.

Highly unlikely, but if there is a war, North Korea's goal would pretty much be to even out South Korea in retaliation for basically everything in the past. I don't really see them having any other goal than to reunify the Koreas together. Plus South Korea and Japan would probably mobilize their troops to defend, not too sure about China, might send its troops to the border just to stand there and look like they're doing something.

There will be no war on Korea because the only nation which would consider war would be USA.
Their resources are already stretched beyond maximum with the current Afghanistan and Iraq wars, and their build up to war on Iran.
There are simply insufficient resources to attack yet another country.
Iran is in the cross hairs right now, as indicated by today's news regarding the Eisenhower fleet which is due to arrive in the Persian Gulf on 21st October.

The Eisenhower strike force, according to my sources, is scheduled to arrive in the vicinity of Iran around October 21, at the same time as a second flotilla of minesweepers and other ships.

Of course resources could be increased by the draft, but there would still be a shortage of ships and aircraft to support four simultaneous wars.

Bush Cheney are the most crazy animals in the world. There plan
of global world dominace are going to cause the distruction of the
United States and Martial law if they feel like they are going to lose
power.
These men and the group above them have setup a military police
state againist the citizens of the United States. The have stole all
the pension plans, social security, treasury for the benefits of the
neo-cons. This is all about control of all people and the resources
of all countrys in the world. It is not about nukes. It is about oil, money, sex, control and power. These men are playing on a world monopoly board and they want to own all the hotels. They
already beleive that they own everything because they can threaten almost all countrys with nukes.

We probably will if things keep going the way they are. Also with our troops spread thin now restarting the draft is a high posibility. I hope we dont have to do that. We are a country already divided over the war in Iraq this would really cause a uprising in our own country. Something I dont think we can handle.

I mean I don't think we'll go war with N.K. Maybe in the future they'll be involved in something. If there is another conflict I think there might be a draft. But that is the future. An now is now. Just hope for peace, and be peacefull.
