what a loyal girl you are. If she was your best friend she wouldnt be flirty with your boyfriend, so I dont know why you would be worrying if you lost her as a friend. She obviously doesnt care if she looses you as a friend or she wouldnt flirt with your boyfriend. Boys are different to girls, they get a kick out of someone flirting with them....well I guess that isnt quite true...I quite enjoy being flirted with.....its good for the ego. The thing is, do you think your boyfriend is just enjoying being flirted with because it is feeding his ego or do you think he may have feelings for this girl. If you dont ask him you will never know.
The first thing I would be doing is telling your "best friend" to get lost. She is no friend of yours....because she is flirting with him in front of you....thats a no no. You are not silly and even though she says she doesnt like him...her body language is telling you that she does. Wipe her quickly because if she is doing it now, she will do it again and you will never be able to trust her. To have a real best friends you have to trust her, you have to believe she would never hurt you and would be there for you if you ever needed her. Get rid of her. Talk to your boyfriend, find out how he is feeling. If you are thinking both are lying to you, then get rid of them both and find a boy who is interested in you and only you and a friend who will support you, not try to hurt you.

just maturely ask them both at the same time. then you put your foot down and say " look I'm not comfortable with this flirting that i think you all are doing" you tell them how you feel tell them to keep there distance from each other. if they don't respect that then you will have to let them go and do what ever, just so you know what ever is done in the dark will eventually come to the light. meaning if they are messing around you will soon fine out. but i do hope the best for you. girl if he don't respect your feelings he don't respect you. and your so called best friend she's no good neither if she don't stand her distance.

You counted? You care too much.
Slow down. You don't need your boyfriend as much as you think you do. And what kind of best friend would flirt with your man? Sounds like you don't need her, either.
Dump them both - move on, keep yourself busy improving yourself not counting flips of hair. There's a whole world out there waiting for you to be strong and make a difference. Why not start today?

You're in a win-win situation and you're holding all the cards...so smile and let them flirt. If you're the nice girl I think you are, your gf will fail miserably and you and your bf will be even closer. And if they do get together, that shows their poor character and it's saved you a lot of time finding out in some other more hurtful way what lousy people they are.

I wouldn't tolerate it myself. That's too close for comfort. Know what I mean? Your BF should not be encouraging it in any way. They are both disrespecting you, especially if they have continued to behave the same way with each other after you've made it known that it makes you uncomfortable. Watch closely how they behave together and then listen to your gut instinct.

Ok, well....as for how your boyfriend is acting...he may be being extra nice to this girl because he knows she is your friend and he is trying to earn brownie points. But then again, maybe he is flirting back. If you cannot speak openly to your guy about how you feel about this then maybe its just not meant to be...If you talk to your boyfriend about this and he doesn't have enough respect for you to stop doing whatever he is doing then don't waste another minute on him.

This is a tough one. Some friends compete very seriously and will try to steal your sweetheart while denying it. Tell your BF his flirting with her is unacceptable.
Many couples drop the friends they had when single and have only other couples for friends. Good luck!

just sit him down and make sure he is facing you. B/c when you sit side my side they don't show eye contact and it is easy for them to lie. But when face to face, they can't lie b/c you are looking him in the eyes. And just tell him what is on your mind, how you feel for him, and then just ask him if he wants to stay with you or if he wants to jeopardize the good thing u two have and go with your friend?
The key to ANY relationship. Wether it be friends, parents, boyfriend/girlfriend, husband and wife it is always COMMUNICATION.
