The fact is they both use the same CCD sensor, which produce by Sony. But A100 has "Super Steady Shot" image stabilization which iS SoundS So Sweet to me. Also, whose lenses are cheaper and better? I am a first time DSLR buyer, am looking for detail-multi-points of view, thank y'all so much!

The specs are too close together to make a meaningful comparison. Like you said, they use the same sensor and the Sony has image stabilization. The specs don't tell the whole story though. Here's a quick list of the pros and cons of both cameras. (The higher price of the D80 is justified.)
D80: http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/nikond80/page29.asp
A100: http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/sonydslra100/page30.asp
Nikon has a clear advantage over Sony (with a Konica Minolta lens mount) with lenses. You can find a wider selection for Nikon, including used lenses and third party options, and at the top end Nikon makes lenses that Sony can't touch. The Nikon 17-35mm f/2.8, the 85mm f/1.4, and the 70-200 f/2.8, for example, are all valid reasons to get a Nikon body in the first place. Canon also has several gems. As does Leica, of course. But eh, I've never heard of anyone getting a Minolta for the great optics.
And as Dr. Sam also pointed out, Nikon has a more sophisticated flash system, which you can immediately take advantage of with the D80.
In fact, image stabilization is the Sony’s single attraction. With Nikon, image stabilization is built in to the lenses, but only a selection of expensive lenses has it. A Nikon VR lens (they call it Vibration Reduction) can cost more than $200 extra.
I personally don’t need VR (I use a Nikon D200, mostly with their 17-55mm f/2.8 and 50mm f/1.4) but if you get a telephoto lens, like a 70-200mm, or if you get an all-in-one lens that goes to 200mm, VR becomes very useful.

I knew I could count on Panacea to recommend the D80. Trust him.
Image stabilization is legitimate technology and it works. The Sony _does_ have this built in, so it would work with all of their lenses. The Sony has some kind of weird non-standard hot shoe and you would not be able to use different brand (better) flash units with the camera without an adapter, if one is available.
If you can spring for this, get the highly-rated Nikon 18-200 VR (vibration reduction) lens with your D80. You might consider this as your FIRST lens purchase, as it is an excellent lens and it covers quite a range with decent results.

I only offered the Sony final week and ought to not be happier. I too replaced into leaning in the direction of a canon yet I spoke to an exceedingly knowledgeable guy working at my digicam shop for countless hours and that i in fact got here across that this is the excellent high quality digicam on supply in my lowish funds. I additionally got here across (after finding out each and every of the cameras) that for what you're paying it beats the generic of suitable opposition like Nikon and Canon. in assessment to many different cameras it has a picture stabilizer in the physique itself so no remember what lens you finally end up making use of the digicam will continuously have the stabilizer, that's remarkable, exceedingly if, like me, you do not understand the thank you to safeguard a digicam o.k.. This digicam is particularly basic to apply, and the intensity-of-container is stunning. i might recommend spending purely a tad bit extra and selecting a Tamron (SP AF17-50mm) lens, it replaced into the excellent determination i will have probably made. the generic is remarkable. you will not be apologetic approximately IT! in case you nevertheless do not understand what to do however i might recommend speaking to an authority at your digicam shop, i found it to be exceedingly helpful. stable success!
