Okay I have broke up with m boyfriend after an on and off relationship. Now there is a rumor going around that we have had sex. This is a lie. Everywhere I go in school someone is either talking about or asking me about it. What should I do.

it may sound simple but it is the best you can do is tell the truth. Don't refuse to talk to these people unless there are not your friends. By telling the truth is easy in your case because you did nothing wrong. You know people will always have something to say about others. it is a way to forget about their own problems. Don't worry about it, show them it doesn't affect you because there is nothing to worry about. If you care that much about what people say about you, well you will be unhappy all you life. You have one, so make the most of it and be yourself.

If anyone askes you about, just say its non of there business or just tell them its a lie, who ever is going around telling this lie will have to live with the guilt not you. Just stand your ground, you know its not true so don't worry about what others say or think!

It is really no ones business but yours. But, hang in there, the rumor will die eventually and something else will be the focus. I would not go back with this guy ever again because he obviously started the rumor.

Peopel are going to believe what they want even if its not true. So be secure in yourself knowing what the truth is and dont answer any questions the people ask you. They will soon get over it.
