The Old Testament holy days and sacrifices were replaced
when Christ came and became the supreme sacrifice for
our sins. So, some things were changed then as noted in
the New Testament. The commandments are still mentioned
in the New Testament. Maybe you just need to sit down and
read in the Bible each day, and you won't have to ask these
kind of questions.

The old testament is Judaism. Yes Christians do need to follow the entire BIBLE, OLD TESTAMENT AND NEW TESTAMENT. The ten commandments are the top 10 laws of God. They are what He finds to be the most important laws of them all.
When Jesus came and died on the cross and rose again. He explained about the old laws of Moses and said that they no longer apply, but only the ten commandments still apply. he made everything ceremonially clean. No more animals sacrifices for sins or doing rituals to be cleansed. We are all found clean and free through the blood of Jesus Christ. He came that "perfect sacrifice" and took the place.
The Old testment was for Jewish law, not Gentiles.

i'm a born back believer. If the question replaced into which testomony do I study, then i might say the two, yet which testomony do I carry on with? then it would maximum particularly be the hot testomony. previous testomony the shadow (eg.The Israelites going in the direction of Cannan). New testomony is the fullfillment (eg. Believers going in the direction of the non secular Cannan ie.Heaven). previous testomony deals with the organic Israelites (Israelites by making use of delivery) and their dating with God. New testomony deals with the two Jews and Gentiles (who're non secular Israelites). in case you carry on with the hot testomony, you will immediately fulfill the previous testomony (in certainty you will circulate previous that on account that OT deals with the action and NT deals with the assumption Matth 5:27,28) yet follwing the OT won't fulfill the NT

We are not under the law anymore it was done away with when Christ gave his life for us. Those old laws pointed the way to the Christ.
We are not under the ten commandments.
However, it is not a good idea to lie, steal or commit adultry.
We are under loving kindness. when it said honor my mother and father. They didn't have social security and children had to take care of their parents so that was a hard law to keep.

10 Commandments make up the Mosaic Law.
600+ Ordinances make up the Levitical Law.
The Law of Ordinances was done away with at the cross.

When Christ came He fullfilled the law of Moses. Therefore anytime we break one of the 10 commandments, we can ask forgiveness, through Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour. Christ sets us free, we no longer follow traditions or rules.

All of the old law expired when Jesus gave us the new covenant in his blood.
From that time forward, only the laws and precepts of the Church he personally founded were binding on the faithful.
