well... its a highly circumstancial question. in this culture, sadly having more than one partner, or attempting to have multiple partners is "bad" its "wrong" etc... but the italians, they flatter women until there is one who finds them irresistable.
frankly; love, sex, dating, relationships, etc. is just a numbers game. why sacrifice low compatibility with one person, while getting a good general idea of higher compatibility with others.
(a person who says "yes" to a dance is much more compatible with your views than one who would say "no")

that's not desperate. Why could desire to adult men have all of the means?? in case you prefer some thing, choose for it! I definitely have asked numerous adult men out and adult men consistently tell me they like my assertiveness. Why could desire to we wait around for a guy to make all of the strikes? they are able to be shy, afraid or intimidated, too. choose for it!
