dude i'm telling you i'm 17 and my friends have tried that stuff....

your a new driver, with no expirence with a really fast car...

your insurance is going to be through the roof! Easily over 2000$ a year...

if you hop on your parents insurance it will probably run you around 1000$ with that car as a secondary driver.

You couldn't afford it.
I have a 2006 Mustang full coverage, no accidents and my insurance is $1500 and I am 51 years old!

Having multiple cars on the policy brings the premium down.

At 16 it is doubtful any company will touch you. You need to be added to your parent's insurance. I also doubt they would allow you lease a vehicle being under age 24.

What is a Mustand? Is that a Mustang knock-off?
You're better of going on your parents' policy. It will increase (big time!) but probably won't be as much if you get your own policy. You will be paying a lot for it, easily over $1,000 a policy period just for you.

You might try getting a quote online. They have awesome rates on teen drivers. I shopped around and they were able to offer me the lowest price/best coverage. Go to: http://www.insureme.com/landing.aspx?Refby=613979&Type=auto
