We all know that the love we feel for our best friends, lovers, siblings, parents, husband or wife and even to ourselves are different from what we feel to our children. At least that's what I have gathered.

I am not a parent yet and I'm hoping to be one too one day.

What kind of love do you feel and give to your children? How does it feel to be a parent? How far would you go for your child / children?

Wow, the love you have for your children trancends everything. You lose your identity for a while and become mom. It changes you in a very fundamental way. For the rest of your life, you put them first. Their joy raises your spirits. Their sadness tears your heart. Their triumphs and tribulations become yours. It is soooo hard. You are stressed and scared and constantly afraid you're doing it wrong. You never get a good night's sleep and sometimes you think you've forgotten how to speak in anything quieter than a yell. You say potty instead of bathroom. Yet all they have to do is say I love you and your world melts
There is nothing I wouldn't do for my children. Tob the end of the universe and back. You know why a woman can lift a truck off of her child? Because she's not just a woman, she's mom.

That is kinda of a hard ? to answer. I am a mother to 3. A 7yr old, a 6yr old, and a 4yr old. The job of a parent is VERY stress full. Very energetic, Very tiring, Very educational, but very REWARDING! I love my children more than any words, any feeling or action you can think of. My children are my life. And one day when your life changes the world will forever evolve around you child. And yes I will with all my power and might to do what it takes to be a better parent than my folks were. And they were the BEST that any child would want. Good luck sweetie

For me, the love began to grow as soon as I knew I was pregnant. A child is a miracle and a gift from God. Love for a child is unconditional and forever. When they are babies, we are everything to them. They need us to live. We feed, bathe & change them. It's a lot of reponsibility but it's a wonderful one. To watch them grow is a wonderous thing. All the firsts they accomplish. The list goes on and on.
I have 2 children and I would never trade them for anything. Some days I would give them away, but those days are few. I am very proud of my kids and I tell them often. Just remember, having a child is at least a 20 year committment, not a small decision. As my husband would say: Women have been doing it for thousands of years, you can do it too!

Think about this for a few, being a parent is not like having a toy to play with and the minute you don't feel like being bothered with it you put it away. It's definitely hard, hard work with trail and error as your guide. Yes people can tell you from their own point of views and experiences but nothing compares to personal experience. Most importantly, not every child will be born in perfect, we don't want to think about that aspect but it's part of life. If your child (God forbid) should need special services and attention how would you handle it? All the answers you seek can only be answered once you become a parent because each situation is different. I don't mean to frighten you, just don't want you getting jaded in thinking it's all roses and butterflies.

It is amazing!! different than the love of a sibling, or your own mother or father.. Having your own child changes everything that you as a person take for granted. You are responsible for someone other than yourself.. I have 2 teenagers, boy and girl, and raised them on my own.. Since they were toddlers, It is the hardest and most rewarding job ever... My children moved to Florida to be with their dad, I lost custody (long story).. it's been 2 months, and my heart aches so much... I'm lost without them, even with all the teenage argueing, you miss that too, It is so true that you would die for them.... The love for your children or child is so strong... So embrace it when the time comes, good luck

There just are not enough words in the world to say how it feels to be a parent. Take the one thing in this world that means EVERYTHING to you and mutiply that by 1,000,000,000,000% and that will give you an idea how much a child means to you. And that is just to scratch the surface.
How far would I go for my children? Being a mother means having no limits when it comes to their well being and safety. "There is no more dangerous place in the world, than between a mother and her child."
I think that pretty well says it.

Being a parent is wonderful. It has good and bad days. That first step, those first words, and most of all the love of a child.Children love you unconditionally. There is no feeling like the love of a child. They love you if you are fat, skinny, ugly, or whatever.Just be prepared because it is not easy because of peer pressure from friends and it does require sacrifice, patience and time.Think of your childhood. You cannot always be your childs friend because there will be times you have to make tough decisions they will not like, but they will love you for it in the long run.

Ha,Ha,Ha!!!!! When I Saw this question I had to laugh. I'm a mother of six, and well it feels like ****! Its hell in my house! I have teenagers and they talk back and don't have any respect! They were easier to handle when the where young. I remember when they were born, i was so happy and they were little and cute, and i loved being a mom, but now forget it!! i can't wait till they grow up and go on with there lives! But regardless of what they do or how they turn out i will always love them. i would do anything for my kids, I honestly would die for them if i had to.

I have never loved nor will I ever love anyone as much as my children. But with that love sometimes comes fear. Can I take care of them? Am I doing ok as a parent? And every decision you make for yourself doesn't just affect you anymore but them, too. It makes you less selfish and more patient and more accepting and it is the best experience of my life.
