I just started seeing a guy and he recently informed me that he lives with a girl whom he occasionally sleeps with when they get drunk. I'm a little uneasy with the situation. She recently god mad at him because he hasn't been around the house much. He's already been threatened twice in the year and a half of living with her that she might throw him out because he starts seeing someone else. He's assured me nothing is going to happen with them now that's he's seeing me. I still don't like the idea. What do you all think? He's in a bind because he can't really afford to move out. In fact he gives her money when he can... which means not all the time and I guess the amount isn't consistant.

Please reread what you just wrote.Does it sound like a normal, loving,and caring relationship?He has the best of both worlds .You on the side line and his live in girl friend.What have you got? Nothing and soon you won't even have your self respect.
Let him fight his own battles, straighten his own life and you do the same thing. No one deserves this kind of treatment. Drop him now and find someone who wants to be with you and care for who you are.

LOL- wow that's a good one! He's living with his girlfriend, sleeping with her (when drunk of course) and dating other girls. Now he claims he's too poor to move out, gives her money, and is trying to tell you everything is fine?

Is this the kind of guy you really want to get involved with? He's already told you that he can't support himself and he lies to the person he's living with. How many warning flags do you need, girl?
Dump the guy and move on. If he really wants you, he should find a way to support himself and move out on his own *before* you get involved with him.

Well, if he has no money think about the kind of loser you are dating and if he does have it but doesn't give it to the roommate he is a selfish user, right? Sounds like a winner either way sweetheart.

They are the couple, you are the girl on the side. he sounds like a total deadbeat loser who can't even pay his share of expenses on a shared place and then cheats on the girls supporting his sorry a*s besides. He sounds like a loser who's cheating on his girlfriend with you.
If he can't even pay his rent you don't want him. If she throws him out you'll have to support this loser cause he's also a user.

WHOA.... no way in hell would i be ok with that i mean there are pleanty of nice people if he is in the apartment with a girl he has been invlved with what is stopping him from doing... i know that isn't what you want to her but it sounds like she has him on a pretty tight string....

I agree with all of these answers. If I was dating a guy that lived with his "sex buddy", people would hear me screaming at him for miles as I DUMPED him!
