I can say a few phrases in Japanese:
- ohayo means good morning -
- konnichiwa means good afternoon -
- kobannwa means good evening -
if you add -gosaimas- it means sir or mister
- moshi moshi is hello when you are answering a telephone -
- doiufunishite means how -
- domo arigato means thank you -

Tsekuwe-no we-ni hon ga arimas.
There's a book on the desk.
It's basically all I remember, but I've tried it out on Japanese people and (even though my transliteration probably isn't) apparently it's understandable.
And Domo arigato.--thank you

Watashi wa sensei desu.
Which means, "I am a teacher."
I used to know how to say "I am not an alligator." But I forgot. Hopefully no one will notice the resemblance if I use enough makeup. (LOL)
