I do it with humor. I do not take anything serious that I do not have control over. I do not care if someone else dislikes me as long as I am doing the right thing. I do the best I can at every turn and I expect nothing more of myself and I give nothing more. If someone in my presence is not a nice person I let them know. I help all that I can and then I help no more. I do not concern myself with political correctness and I do not look back. Somehow this has worked for me.
My general philosophy about the ups and downs of life - and we never know how much time we have - is "all pain ends, all pleasure ends." Since everything comes to an end I am going to find the humor in the good, the bad and the blessed.

go to the gym, do running, ride a bike, go on tread mill, lift weights, take an aerobic class. Or run on your own, or ride stationary bike on own while watching television. Another way to relieve stress is to have a nice hot bath and relax, or rest and read or watch tv, or spend some quality time with your partner, maybe even go out for dinner and dancing!! mermaid199

There are many ways of course, but exercise is an excellent outlet. Yoga and Tai Chi are 2 forms of exercise that also can help with " mental peace." However, even a brisk walk will help. I personally hit a heavy bag, punching something really helps! Good luck!

Hobbies. Jet skiing is my fav for summer, going for walks or bike ridding. Winter snuggle down with a good book, hot tea, snowmobiling.
