If you are talking about the civilian world, such as getting a discount on your meal at Denny's, you have to show your military ID card.

If you are talking about the military world, such as free (Space A) flights, then you have to have complete Initial Entry Training.

Both of those above statements mean that you will have served AT LEAST 4 months in the military.

That depends on who is giving the discount, and what proof they want. In general all that is required is two years of active duty. You may be required to show proof in the form of a DD-214 "Report of Separation". Contact the company giving a discount for their requirements, and requirements of proof, if any.

Nope,you just have to ask if they give discounts.But not everybody gives discounts.

nope as long as you can flash your military id your good to go!
