Nothing beats Garnier. You could then rinse and squeeze a lemon on your hair, or rinse with rose tea, or even your favorite beer, but I don't think that would smell good in your hair...tell us what you used. I'm sure it will smell great...I can smell your hair now, in fact. Intoxicating!!! Super!!!!! Wow!!!!

Try these tips if you want salon healthy hair every day!
Hair Wash

The best way of washing hair is with Aritha and Shikakai Powder. It does not have any chemicals or any other side effects. Aritha and Shikakai powder is available at any General stores or even a banyan shop.

Shampoos

Dry Hair - Egg, Herbal shampoo or any shampoo for dry hair.

Normal Hair - For normal hair fruit shampoos or henna shampoo is good.

Oily Hair - Lemon Shampoo

Hair Oil
Oil your hair at least once in a week. If you have dry hair then oil it twice a week. Hair oil gives the necessary moisturizers to your hair. Herbal hair oil provides you the necessary nourishment along with the moisturizers.

Hair Conditioners

Henna

Henna conditions and colours your hair.

Dry hair - Add some milk, water and 1-2egg yolks in henna. This mixture will not dry your hair and will make it soft and manageable. Apply it monthly.

Normal to Oily Hair – Add water, lemon, egg yolks in henna. You can apply Henna fortnightly.

Home made conditioners

Add ¼ cup of vinegar in ½ bucket of water. This will give a good shine to your hair. Mix curds and egg yolks together and apply it for 1hour.
Hair Tonics

Try tonic Hair Oil’s powder - Put 4 tsp of this powder in water, boil it and after cooling down apply it on hair. This will stop hair loss, rejuvenate and nourish your hair.

Brilliant Brunette smells nice, but the scent of Pantene lasts longer andf the Garnier lasts forever...

I've never tried Bed Head, but that sounds like one I want to try.

Stay away from Brilliant Brunette - although it works well - the odor is horrible - like a 100 little old ladies at a funeral, it stinks!

Garnier smells nice.

My favorite is Bed Head Dumb Blonde shampoo and conditioner for bleached, color treated, or damaged hair. It smells amazing kind of like pineapple or something. It's a sweet smell.

And the smell lasts until the next shampoo. I just got my hair cut today and my hairstylist asked what shampoo I used because it smelled so good-and I hadn't washed my hair for two days(since it dries my hair out...not because I like it dirty haha)!

You can usually get a liter of both from a salon for 20 bucks altogether.

Use either Garnier Fructis (it smells fantastic AND it's great for your hair) or Herbal Essense new line they have out, you'll want Color Me Happy- Iuse the curls stuff (it smells even better, acai berries and silk)

Garnier Fructis is more expensive and a lot better for your hair. After using it for a month you'll notice your hair getting softer. BUT the Herbal Essense smells fantastic!

I rotate between the two!

I use Pantene, because I have long hair, and I roof for a living, and Pantene conditioner is the only conditioner that will keep my hair from being tangled beyond repair. It smells good, and I can still smell the Pantene after sweating for most of a day the next day, if that helps.

I use Brilliant Brunette and I can still smell it at the end of the day. Smells a little like coconut and chocolate.

Garnier does smell amazing--I can always smell it on my hair even a day after I washed it. I love it!
