I was wondering when you sit in a hot jacuzzi and steam room if you lose any weight because you are sweating so much.

thats just water you are losing, not fat and calories from your body, that requires exercise or lipo. You will quickly gain the lost water back after u eat and drink more food.

I heard that fats start to break down at a certain temperature when your body is exposed to heat. Not too sure about it though but you could find out more if you want to.
And on top of that, your body loses water content and therefore your weight will drop.

yes, a steam room makes you sweat and the more you sweat the more water weight you lose. also, if you're a guy I would really recommend spending less than half an hour in there so you don't become infertile.

you lose water in your body, which means you lose some weight. But that means either you have to stay dehydrated or you drink some water and gain the weight again.

a few ounces, maybe. you are also absorbing water into your dry skin as you sweat. Not really very effective way to loose weight unless you exercise before hand and eat well.
