There are one million or more correct responses to your question. Some "guys" are immature and not really ready for a close connection with someone. Some guys have been hurt by some girl in the past and make a vow to never get hurt again by hurting first.
Guys are horny all the time and many will lie to get what they want. Some people are just plain liars. I could go on and on because the reasons are different depending on the person.
But not every guy is a bad person. Expand your world a little. Look outside the box you have built.

You don't think that women do the same thing? I think us guys have had our share of the guilt violin. Being in relationships can be boring sometimes, you have to spice it up with a bit of manipulation, and try to take advantage as best you can. I try to trick my wife into sex all the time. I promise presents and all. Once she catches on, I change the game to sympathy or something. Works great.

Not all do but some guys just get a big kick out of seeing just how much they can hurt you! For some reason it makes them feel in control!

B/c they think they can go from girl to girl and treat them like trash, OK I'm NOT talking about every guy b/c I think I have a good one. But the players I know, I think they just have no life and wanna show people what all they "Can have" its really BS!

i wonder the same thing.it's like they say one thing,and mean another.
i think,in some cases,some guys don't mean to.we might think they like us as more than a friend.when,really,they're just being nice to us,because they like us as a friend,and nothing more.
to those who do it on purpose,i think they just wanna hurt us.because someone hurt them.and,of course,since most guys don't think the way we do,they don't fall in love like we do.we're the sensitive,emotional ones.while they're just thinking about sex and having a good time.rather than having a relationship with us.it sucks.but that's the way it is.of course,there are some guys who are more mature,and who care about having a relationship.but it's hard to find them nowadays.

Marlene!! I'm surprised at you!! Guys dont do anything to our feelings that we dont let them do.
We fall to fast and too far! And then blame the guy when they dont feel the same way. You have to remember, guys dont think or feel with their hearts.
