no, i don't want one of you-im asking this question: how do you get guys to the point where it would not be awkward to ask them to the dance-and fast, b/c i don't have much time. i know, i need to go talk to someone-anyone-but how? what do i say? it is never convienient. im always having a class or something. what do you say to a guy you've never talked to much before, but are interested in, and are trying to get to know him well enough to ask him out? also, what is a signal that he is ready to be asked? im not looking for stupid answers!!!! best answers awarded for good answers.

You sound like you are putting too much agony into something that is supposed to be a lot of fun! Calm down and make a list of 5 guys that you would like to invite. Rank them 1st to 5th. Make yourself go down the list and keep asking until one says YES. Now you know how guys feel. The pressure is terrible! So get it over with so you can focus on going to the dance. Practice the asking part with your friend or sister or Mom. You can get this done tomorrow! Good luck!!!

hey girl or guy don't matter to me but sounds like you've got to relax. Things are going 2 b fine if he doesn't want 2 go out w u but maybe i can help u make him want u It all depends on how well u know him for one. Well I have no clue but the way I got someone to go with me is to say "Hay wana go with me to the dance,but just as friends?"That is what I did or pass a note saing Dear _______ you wana go to the dance with me? or somtin like that

Just remember that they want you to ask them.they are just as nervous as you are.Make conversation,ask if they have a date yet.You'll be able to tell if they want to go with you.If they don't want to go with you,they'll say they have a date even if they don't.Saves you from being embarrassed as well.Good luck,have fun.
