Define winning.
Although I have no idea how anyone could say we're winning there are a lot on here that do.

I think what ever happens we have lost.
We've pissed away almost 3000 young lives and 500 billion dollars and what 20000 shot up and who knows how many mental cases.
There is also the 500 billion it'll take to take the VA to care for the troops that have been shot (based on cost of taking care of gulf vets)
We also have, who knows how much, to rehab the military and the cost goes on and on and on. Of course we've passed this cost to our grand kids, we took a tax cut.

well, we're being held back by 2 things. One being NATO, and two being the damn tree hugging hippies that forget about why they are free today. They want to sit back and talk crap about our country and our president while not even realizing that they are using the rights that they are so pissed off about our troops fighting for right now. What do you think would happen if someone before the war in Iraq said Saddam sucked monkey &^*Ts? They would have been shot on the spot. So anyways, we're in a stand still till we can get some people to shut up and respect what we're doing over there.

There are never any winners in war, someone is always burying a loved one from either side. There are more than just the US fighting against terrorism (which in itself is forever endless)

Boy howdy ! Yes we are ! You would not believe all the good news that is coming out of Iraq these days. We are handing out candy bars and chewing gum, painting schools and exporting freedom all over the place !

I hope not losing it. If so it's a cruel joke on all of us. I'd hate to think our troops died for nothing and the arabs are going to get away with 9/11.

The United States defeated Saddam and his army, and turned the country to a freely elected government (remember the blue thumbs?). It’s now up to the Iraqi people to take control of their country and establish peace. Peace cannot be forced on any people by a foreign army. We can help them police their country for a while, but it is really up to them now.

60 more Iraqi bodys found today in Baghdad, 27 U.S. solders killed since the first of the month. If this is winning I would hate to see what losing is.

The war in iraq is over... we already won it. What it is fighting now is a completely different battle.
