Hydrogen pyroxide might help, it is harmless and can sometimes open up a clog. Put a couple of drops in and let it work for a minute or so.

Get an earwax removal kit, which contains a small bottle of Carbamide Peroxide, and an ear syringe. Use it as directed. Never stick a Q-tip down into your ear,it will only further impact the wax. About once a week, I will run a bath as hot as I can stand, and once I am in it, I will submerge my head enough to have both ears underwater, and turn my head slightly both ways to let the air out, and the hot water in, and soak like that for about 15 minutes. Once you sit up, take the ear syringe, and keep jetting each ear while head is turned to allow the water to drain, and within 5 minutes of doing this, the wax will be gone. You'll see it in the water. If you've never done it, don't be surprised at how much comes out the first time!

There is an oil they call it sweet oil that you can get at the pharmacy. Warm it in a bowl of warm water, not hot. Then lie on your side and have someone put 3-4 drops in your ear. Lie there for at least 20 min. so it can get down into the ear canal and do this at least twice a day. If it is wax build up it will soften it and it should work in a few days. Also, you can mix 10% peroxide with warm water and using a bulb syringe, fill it and rinse out your ear with that. Peroxide kills germs and the warm water should loosen the wax. We did this when I worked for a Dr. So, it is safe. Good luck.
