I think its pretty i have a butterfly in the same spot, but different style. as long as you like it who cares if others say its trashy!

Well, I can't really see any detail.. So I can't comment so much on the artist's work. It looks nice from what I can tell.. but what's up with everyone getting lower-back tattoos nowadays? I thought tattoos were all about expressing individuality.. Kind of loses its meaning when everyone is getting the exact same tattoo in the exact same spot. Don't get me wrong.. it's a cute tattoo, nice coloring (from what I can tell), and it looks like it took a few good hours to complete. It is kind of a cliche tattoo though, honestly.
I can also understand you wanting people to be polite, but you are in an open-question forum, looking for honest opinions. It's perfectly normal for someone to think it looks 'trashy', even if it is one awesome tattoo. You shouldn't be on here fishing for compliments (at least I hope you're not).. and it seems like you need to take criticism a little more lightly.

Great...but how do you see it? I mean, we see it...why do women like tatoos on their butt which they can't enjoy...though I guess we spend alot of time enjoying womens' butts...still, explain this to me. It's a big star or flower, right?

Welcome to the Tramp Stamp club! I got this big (8"x11") tattoo in about the same spot in '95, all blackwork. Good for you, it's lovely!
