The first place to start is your local police dept, then try the local police academy,if you're CLET certified you shouldn't have a problem, if not get certified thru the local academy.

My grandson just took the tests and applied in Texas you first check with different police Departments and see if they are hiring then apply they will give you different tests and if you pass them all when the academy starts training you go and hopefully get through it.
