I know much about my little pal. He thinks he is human - not a bird. He mimicks many sounds, talks, dances, and many other things. I was just thinking though, one thing he hasn't picked up is the whistle. He does not whistle. Do conures not whistle?

I have a Sun Conure. He dances, answers questions, Talks on the radio.... He sqawks, he squeeks.... will clean my teeth even... But whistle? Never. The lady at the pet store said that is very hard for them to learn. Most do not.

sure they do! I worked for a family that did everything too, the one I was annoyed on was the ringing of the phone. They had a cordless which was just about anywhere in the house and he even did the page alert sound to find the phone. Made it hard to locate it! But I was hooked and wanted a sun Conure since! They are so cute!
I'm jealous! I want one!
